This technology is aimed at those working in radio and television broadcasting, recording and production studios for voice and music, advertising agencies, news information, audio-on-demand and all other broadcasting over ISDN and Ethernet .

Both the OPTICODEC 7400 and 7600 support AETA 4SB ADPCM, a coding/decoding algorithm which enables you to transmit high quality audio with a latency of less then 6 ms - ideal for live reporting. These units (after updating) will be fully compatible in mono with the AETA HiFiScoop3 and SCOOPY codecs. Updating your units requires the V4.25 system software, downloadable free of charge from our Internet server.

The activation fee for the purchase of the 4SB ADPCM algorithm by AETA costs EUR 250 per license.
